HERES WINE

JEDES MAL, WENN ICH AN DIESE BEMERKUNG ERINNERE, WERDE ICH AUFGEFORDERT, EINE ERGÄNZUNG ZU MACHEN: „Das Leben IST ZU KURZ, UM SCHLECHTEN WEIN ZU TRINKEN UND ... ZU HÖREN SCHLECHTE MUSIK.“ GUTER WEIN IST WIE GUTE MUSIK WEIN IST EINE ECHTE SYMPHONIE DES GESCHMACKS UND MUSIK IST EIN EINZIGARTIGER GEFÜHLSTRAUß."

I am a pianist. I live in Switzerland, but I am from Armenia, the home of many exceptional varieties of grapes, the origin of many fine wines. According to a well-known legend, Noah planted the first grapevines in Armenia, in the valley at the foot of Mount Ararat. Whenever I drink Armenian wine, I get a sense the richness of the land and the warmth of sun which ripens Armenia`s apricots, pomegranates and grapes.

Few countries can proudly trace the grapes they grow to roots that have retained the quality of taste stemming from centuries old grape stock. This is precisely the case regarding the cultivation of Armenian grapes which benefit not only from climate but also calcareous soil. Armenians have proudly preserved many varieties of centuries old grapes. Hundreds of varieties of Armenian grapes are an endless source of exquisite bouquets of wine, brimming with new tastes - both wonderful and awe-inspiring. The history of Armenian wine spans 6100 years. Clay vats used to store wine were recently discovered by archaeologists in a cave near the village of Areni in Armenia. Thus, we can confidently say that these are the oldest grape varieties and this is the oldest wine.

Along with my passion for music, I savor Armenian wines. As a musician, I cherish bringing music to people, especially Armenian music which reflects thousands of years of deep-rooted Armenian culture. Now I would like to give people the opportunity to taste Armenian wine. Every drop reflects our history, culture, aspirations and fate. Based on the desire to share Armenia`s legacy with those around the world, I have founded the firm Heres Wine (from the Latin word meaning "heritage") to introduce wine from the grapes originating from vines planted by Noah. Wines filled with passion which deserve to be known the world over because they carry a fragment of heritage that belongs to all of us. The time has come to introduce Armenian wines in Switzerland to those who crave new taste sensations. I have carefully chosen wines that promise to interest and excite those with a fondness for good wine. The debut of Armenian wines is bound to be as special as listening to the rich harmonies of Armenian music. Choose a glass of magnificent wine, sit back, relax and listen to your favorite music - the beginning of true pleasure! Both musicians and winemakers take great pride in investing time and passion in creating a true masterpiece. Both are tuned to the smallest of nuances. Both are motivated by dedication, energy and love. The combination of the right wine and the right music can create an extraordinary experience. Beautiful music along with a bottle of good Armenian wine transports the richness and energy of Armenia with each sip. Enjoy the ancient wisdom of winemakers based on six thousand years of tradition. Taste a bit of heritage while experiencing the beauty of music and wine. Cheers!
